New International Competition

Singles Cricket Championship participating countries: Spain, Portugal, Singapore and Japan.

28th May start a new and exciting International Championship with players from diferent countries.

Details as follows:

• Start qualification: 28/05/2010 at 3 pm (Singapore) , 4pm (Japan).-          
• End qualification: 04/07/2010 at 7 am (Singapore) , 8am (Japan).-          
• Cricket 200, 15 rounds-          
• Average of the 5 best games-          
• 8 categories
• 1^st cat. MPR higher then 4,5
• 2^nd cat. MPR between 4,1 and 4,49
• 3^rd cat MPR between 3,9 and 4,09
• 4^th cat MPR between 3,6 and 3,89
• 5^th cat MPR between 3,3 and 3,59
• 6^th cat MPR between 2,9 and 3,29
• 7^th cat MPR between 2,2 and 2,89
• 8^th cat MPR less then 2,19-          
• From every category the best 8 players qualify for the finals which are to be played with handicap          
• The finals will be an online tournament:

• 1ª y 2ª category : Sunday 11/07/2010 15.00 h Spain, 14.00 h Portugal, 21.00 Singapore, 22.00 Japan
• 3ª y 4ª category : Sunday 11/07/2010 13.00 h Spain, 12.00 h Portugal, 19.00 Singapore, 20.00 Japan.
• 5ª y 6ª category : Saturday10/07/2010 15.00 h Spain, 14.00 h Portugal, 21.00 Singapore, 22.00 Japan.
• 7ª y 8ª category : Saturday10/07/2010 13.00 h Spain, 12.00 h Portugal, 19.00 Singapore, 20.00 Japan

     

• Draw for the finals:o    First round:
• The best 4 of each category will enter in the tournament-bracket on the winner-side. The other 4 will enter on the losers-side ( that means they don’t have a 2^nd opportunity).
• On the winners-side the 1^st of the category will play against the 4^th from the same category, the 2^nd will play against the 3^rd. This goes for all categories. In the first leg the highest rated player will start the game. (automatic)
• On the losers-side the 5^th of the category will play against the 8^th from the same category, the 6^th will play against the 7^th. This goes for all categories. In the first leg the highest rated player will start the game. (automatic)
• The rest of the bracket will be played as a normal tournament.
